These are all words that we hope describe Sunday Afternoon at Stoke Gifford Baptist Church. We meet every Sunday afternoon at 4 pm until about 5:15pm; during this time people of different ages and cultures, who enjoy a more traditional style of church, gather together to pray for today‘s world, sing some of the great classic hymns, and listen to a relevant talk about what that God may be saying to us today.

We know that sometimes life can be lonely and we can all feel isolated at times, so this the time after the service is really an important part of Sunday afternoons at Stoke Gifford. It’s a great chance to make new friends, or catch up with old ones over a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and a time when can be there for each other, as we journey through life.

If you are thinking of coming, feel free to show up at any time - we guarantee you a warm welcome. HOWEVER, we understand that it can be a bit daunting walking into a church for the first time.
